Welcome to The MH Gear Report, where Men's Health's gear and tech experts find the coolest new releases in gear, technology, home goods, and more.
IF WE'VE learned anything from the growing support of Pride Month in the past few years, it's that a product can represent more than just its physical form. Sure, we've all heard those stories of companies and brands putting on a front to try and use Pride Month for their own monetary gain, but that's only a smart percentage of what the greater landscape looks like. The reality is brands and companies are hard at work collaborating and creating fun Pride-inspired products that actually help champion inclusivity and equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community. We're talking about products that give back in a big way.
This month's Gear Report is dedicated to covering all our favorite gear, tech, and home releases during Pride Month. We're also making sure to highlight the charities and causes each brand is giving back to. Take, for example, Skullcandy's three-year partnership with To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA), where the brand has helped raise over $100,000 to support the non-profit organization's mission to provide resources for LGBTQ+ members who struggle with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Or Hoka and Cotopaxi's Pride Collaboration, where the two brands pledged a combined total donation of $60,000 to True Colors United, a non-profit organization who's mission is to prevent and end homelessness for LGBTQ+ youth—a group that's 120 percent more likely to experience homelessness than non-LGBTQ youth.

Osprey dropped a Pride-inspired collection with The Venture Out Project (TVOP), an organization that helps provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ members to building community, leadership, and confidence through outdoor activities. Since 2015, TVOP has led over "200 day and overnight trips and served over 1500 participants through guided outdoor adventures, workshops and community events."
The Osprey x TVOP collection is full of T-shirts, Hydro Flasks, socks, and bags. Our favorite is this Daylite Pride Plus backpack pictured above. It's super lightweight and built to handle all types of adventures.
Apple released a Pride Edition Sport Loop, a Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop, and a Pride Edition Sport Band (pictured above). What's cool is each band comes with its own unique Apple Watch animated wallpaper to display.
Apple also financially supports a number of LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations, including Equality Federation Institute, The National Center for Transgender Equality, The Trevor Project, and more.

One of our favorite pairs of Skullcandy headphones just got decked out in a limited-edition Pride colorway. In collaboration with To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA), the two brands are celebrating Pride and bringing awareness to the higher-than-average rates of depression, PTSD, and anxiety disorder members of the LGBTQ+ community face.
Skullcandy has been a partner with TWLOHA for three years, donating over $100,000 to the help the organization fund its mission to find help for LBGTQ+ members who are struggling with trauma and stress-related conditions. A portion of the Crusher Evo All Love Headphones will go to funding the TWLOHA.
Two of our favorite brands, Hoka and Cotopaxi, came together and designed two awesome products to help celebrate Pride Month. The first is this color-loaded Kapai 3L Hip Pack, made with repurposed nylon and designed to carry all your essentials. The second are these Anacapa Breeze Low sneakers, a pair of warm weather trail shoes with a Vibram Megagrip outsole, an engineer air mesh upper, and an extended HUBBLE heel. Oh, and how could we forget to mention the totally cool and one-of-a-kind colorway?
Hoka and Cotopaxi are also pledging a combined $60,000 to True Colors United, a non-profit organization that's mission is to prevent and end homelessness for LGBTQ+ youth. According to True Colors United, LGBTQ+ youth are "120 percent more likely to experience homelessness than non-LGBTQ youth" and "40 percent of youth experiencing homelessness identify as LGBTQ+."
ROAM's Pride Carry-On is the loudest and proudest Pride-inspired product on this list, and we absolutely love the brand for it. Not only does this limited edition suitcase come in a groovy front color, but it can also be customized to the max. You can change the color of the back of the luggage, the lining, and the trim; plus you can add a monogram.
Even better is the fact that for every bag sold, ROAM has pledged to donate $100 to New Alternatives, an organization dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ homeless youth and young adults transition to stable adult lives.
Smartwool wants to ensure you can show your Pride year-round. Their Love Crew Socks help with that, designed with the word "Love" in its center surrounded by rainbow dashes. As always, the socks themselves are breathable with a stay-in-place design that make them perfect to wear for any activity.
As for Smartwool's charitable efforts, the brand is donating $100,000 to various LGBTQ+ programs worldwide — including The Venture Out Project and Outdoor Afro — "so that everyone has a sense of belonging outside."
We love a good shaving kit, especially when it's from Harry's. This Pride Shave Set features the brand's Craft Handle with a limited-edition iridescent colorway. You also get the Foaming Shave Gel, three blade cartridges, a travel blade cover, and a card featuring a poem written by Saeed Jones.
Harry's has pledged to donate $5 to The Trevor Project for every set purchase. The Trevor Project will use the money to provide LGBTQ+ youth with access to mental health resources and 24/7 crisis support.
Enso's line of Pride rings are available for you to purchase any day of the year, with a portion of proceeds donated consistently to organizations like Encircle which helps to create and provide housing to LGBTQ+ youth and families across the country.
Their newest ring—the 9th in its collection—has the word "Love" etched on the band, designed to pop with its rainbow inner core and black pearl outer ring.
Fossil's relationship with The Trevor Project has been going strong since 2011, with over $275,000 helping with the development of crisis services and various programs for LGBTQ+ youth. This stainless steel watch, called the Everett, is a part of their exclusive new collection, is crafted with a stainless steel H-link bracelet with a watch face that features—you guessed it—vibrant and colorful rainbow indices that lets you sport a subtle bit of rainbow on your wrist.
Absolut kicked off the rainbow bottled booze trend back in 2008, and has continued with their support of the LGBTQ+ community through a collaboration with The Gilbert Baker Foundation. A portion of proceeds from every one of their beautifully designed glass spirits help to promote and educate people about the inclusive and importance of the community's flag. And the best part: the bottle is available for purchase 365 days of the year.
Chubbies Dad Hat gets a Pride twist this June, available in blue with the iconic flag stitched in its center. With each purchase of this limited option—as well as any other of their Pride styles—$5 will be donated to Foundation 43, Chubbies’ own nonprofit created to provide mental health care and suicide prevention efforts to young members of the LGBTQ+ community.
