Krauter will recount her life's story as a United States citizen and daughter of German Immigrants during the 1940's. Her tale begins in her youth during the joyful and innocent days that change overnight with the bombing of Pearl Harbor, to her father's suspicion of being a Nazi spy, her time in an internment camp in Texas, returning to Germany as German citizens to witness the end of the war, escaping Russian occupation of Germany and (finally) concluding with her return to the United States. She will speak and then will open it up for Questions and Answers. Jasper German Club and the Dubois County Museum are sponsoring free admission this day to the museum from 1-4 p.m.

How tick savvy are you? Learn all you want to know about ticks and maybe even more! The program will be held on Wednesday June 7 at 6 p.m. CST at the Princeton Public Library. Mr. Ginder has been doing research for the past couple of years in the Refuge area and is investigating to determine if there is a range of extension of a new tick born disease.
